MARIANNA WINTER RELEASES

NEWEST RELEASE

SINGLES

PATIO (2025)

PEOPLE PLEASER (2023)

PEOPLE PLEASER (2023)

With the theatrical energy of Chappell Roan and the laid-back cool of Weezer, Patio reimagines early 2000s indie-pop-rock through a Gen Z lens. Lo-fi textures, layered guitars, and breezy melodies create a nostalgic yet fresh vibe—perfect for late summer nights, post-party come-downs, or windows-down escapes. Think Bedroom-pop’s more dramatic older cousin.

Originally inspired by girlhood and the intensity of female friendships, Patio builds from dreamy intimacy to a high-energy, sing-along release—an emotional exhale of frustration and freedom.

Whether you’re with your girls or that fleeting vacation flame, Patio becomes a soundtrack to moments that matter, even if they fade.

PEOPLE PLEASER (2023)

We all know some people pleasers in our lives, if you don’t then maybe you ARE one… but don’t worry, soul-pop singer Marianna Winter’s got you.
This year, Faroese/American Marianna Winter sought out to add a new word to her vocabulary. The word being: no.

Her UK debut show at the Great Escape in May had strangers singing her songs from the top of their lungs, as stated by DORK Magazine.

CONSEQUENCES (2023)

Being constantly exposed to multiple cultures with contradicting rules and values at an early age, Winter learned to put on a mask to hide the rebel girl with a mind of her own, setting herself aside for the comfort of others. Her new single, Consequences, is about removing that mask and the shame that comes with it and embracing the imperfect woman underneath. That woman might be jealous and short-tempered, but she also gets things done and will stand up for herself and anyone she loves. Most importantly, she’s Marianna Winter.

BACK TO YOU (2020)

For Real This Time (2019)

For Real This Time (2019)

The holiday release “Back To You”, radiates true christmas spirit through a warm and cosy, tape filtered mixture of r&b, soul, pop and jazziness. The song features nine tracks of elegantly arranged harmonies, supporting Marianna’s soothing vocals. Wistful and introspective, the song reflects on the subject of longing for someone or something out of reach. In her case, her younger self. Although the lyrics and mood is quite melancholy, Marianna manages to give the song a sense of hope.

Sorry, I'm a Libra EP

‘Sorry, I’m A Libra’ is Marianna's debut EP.

A collection of enchanting and frank songs written over the past two years and brimming with personality. It features previous singles ‘Take It Slow’, a silky smooth and intoxicating number reminiscent of the beginning throes of being in love and uplifting and inspirational badass anthem ‘BMM’. ‘Voodoo’, a spellbinding song which effortlessly blends rich guitars with shimmering beats and ‘Over You’, which brings LA heat to Winter’s quintessential Nordic sound also appear on the release.

“I wanted my debut release to represent me and who I am,” Marianna explains, “and each one of the songs represents me in various ways. There are a lot of sides to me, and I’m just trying my best to keep them in balance, and that’s what I wanted this EP to reflect. This is for anyone trying to find balance within themselves while simultaneously loving the disproportions.”
